    Jean-Philippe Rameau, Le grand ThÉÂtre de l’amour 102'  - 2013  - Heliox Films
    Synopsis

Love is everywhere and forever. The world of Baroque opera is certainly no exception, because whether they are Gods or men, nobody can escape Cupid's arrows.
Sabine Devieilhe and Alexis Kossenko selected the most beautiful movements from Rameau’s operas to let us feel the pleasures and the torments of love. Sabine Devieilhe sings all the roles, giving voice to voluptuous mistresses, languishing queens and offended goddesses.
Innocent or lustful, happy or desperate, from hope to disappointment, from anger to jealousy, Rameau outlines all of these emotions via sophisticated orchestrations in the most living colours.

Arias and instrumental movements : Hippolyte et Aricie, Castor et Pollux, Platée, Les Indes Galantes, Les Fêtes de l’Hymen et de l’amour, Anacréon, Les fêtes d’Hébé, Zoroastre, Les Fêtes de Polymnie, Zaïs Les Paladins, Les Boréales
