    Schubert, symphonie N°8 “Unfinished” 24'  - 2013  - Heliox Films
    Synopsis

Because it has only two movements, it is still known as the "Unfinished Symphony" (German: Die Unvollendete). It seems surprising that Schubert was unable to compose two other movements to complete a symphony so firmly initiated. How to understand this sudden decline of his musical inspiration? To this question, several hypotheses have been advanced, but the most credible one remains the discovery by Schubert of his syphilis.

    DAVID GRIMAL & LES DISSONANCES
The Dissonances, homage to the famous quartet of Mozart, is a collective of artists created by violinist David Grimal. The musical ensemble without conductor, has an absolute liberty of programming choices. This independence offers musicians the opportunity to meet a new audience sometimes intimidated by the so-called classical music and to bring the public a new vision of the major repertoire.
