Shara Worden is not what you might call discreet. Expansive in her gestures, her costumes and her music, the American has an innate sense of grandiose pop, without ever falling into grandiloquence. With her drummer and guitarist, and helped by her faithful MC, who took care of the first half of her European concerts, it is with a certain amusement that the brains behind My Brightest Diamond has developed a completely offbeat live show, specially adapted to the Soirée de Poche setting. Close to her audience, with whom she constantly interacts, the musician is the perfect candidate in every respect, somewhere between an energetic MC and a touching pianist.
