    Undiscovered Pigalle 52'  - 2011  - Chasseur d’étoiles
    Synopsis

The aim of “Undiscovered Pigalle” is to question our prejudices, to break down the barriers of our assumptions, to scratch the surface…
Pigalle, its inhabitants, its regulars, its tourists, its lights… its joys and sorrows.
The aim of this film is to always go that bit further, to go behind the scenes. Not content to stop at what I’m shown in Pigalle, it is curious, sometimes cheeky…
I love the things that people don’t usually look at. This documentary allows the viewer to see what goes on behind the scenes of a reality. To understand what drives people, who they are, how they think, you have to put yourself in their place. It’s not easy… but by going “backstage”, I won’t be so far off.
I want to change the stereotypes of enunciation, change the way of saying things, of describing things, thanks to a character that opens its doors to us, reveals its secrets, its battles, its disillusions; to live so close to it for a moment that we feel everything, and understand it.
