A fast-moving and mainly visual show for all the family, La Cuisine takes a new look at the classic clown duo (handsome/ugly, smart/dumb, strong/weak), combining burlesque theatre with object manipulation.

One is the sadistic boss, a terrifying tyrant who expects to be obeyed at the slightest frown. The other is the good-for-nothing whipping boy and fall guy for this mad scientist-like chef. From whipping to slicing, a seemingly innocuous recipe spices things up, the heat goes on, and everything turns sour...

Directed by Jean Lucas of Cie Sterenn, La Cuisine offers Mario Hochet and Freddy Mazet the opportunity to present a full range of clowning styles to their astonished audience, who struggle to catch their breath between fits of laughter.
