Idalio and her sister Joana comes to Portugal with their nephew Manu, in order to sell the family home. This painful event will engender memories of emigration and raise the question of the transmission of identity.

Through secrets and songs, everyone will discover the part of Saudade that they carry within themselves, like a memory that comes down through time and comforts the soul, like something that is no more but always remains alive, like a hope beyond horizons.
