Gordie Chambers is a French indie-folk singer-songwriter born in Rouen. From his childhood in Normandy, surrounded by wheat fields and high tides, to his years spent in the metropolises of Cape Town, Berlin and Paris, he has always drawn from his natural surroundings the sensibility that nourishes his music. Today, he draws his inspiration from nature and wide open spaces to sing of the beauty of the present moment.
After starting out as a drummer in an indie rock band, Gordie went on to play nothing but folk, strongly inspired by Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, Camille et Pomme and Bon Iver, Dawes, Mumford and sons.
