She was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall Of Fame in 2016 for her lifetime achievement. On stage, she has an energy that always carries you higher and an inimitable contact with the audience. She has written and produced hundreds of original songs, including the songs on her albums. She has received critical acclaim and toured internationally. She owns the Blue Kitty Music label.
