It is in the inland region of Balagne, where olive trees thrive, that the group MERIDIANU was born. Like the roots of the tree of peace, it is from this land steeped in history that MERIDIANU draws its inspiration and the strength expressed in its songs.

For the group, cultural heritage is indeed the foundation upon which the present is built and from which the future is shaped.

MERIDIANU has chosen to rely on the richness of a heritage largely saved from oblivion thanks to the research and recordings carried out by F. Quilici and F. Flori.
