“The Man and the Fisherman” is a whimsical comedy inspired by both surrealist and popular theatre, delving into each person’s relationship with their inner world—our dreams, fears, desires, and deepest needs. With irony and humor, it also reflects on a future that can easily slip through our fingers amid compromises, renunciations, social isolation, and relentless demands of productivity. How is it that we sometimes feel like mere spectators of our own lives?
Both the writing and the staging seek to explore these questions in a world that is at once dreamlike, comic, and poetic—a universe where reflection and laughter intertwine.
