Nasīj, Whispered Tales is a musical project led by Tunisian singer and oud player Sarra Douik. Through her compositions, Sarra explores human relationships, her connection with the world around her, and her own inner journey. Her writing draws on Arab and North African traditions while embracing influences from contemporary jazz and Mediterranean music.

The result is a delicate, organic sonic universe, where each note seems to carry a memory and a breath.

On this musical journey, she is joined by José Soares on saxophone and José Almeida on double bass. Together, they weave subtle colours and textures, creating a soundscape that speaks both of human beings and of nature, of their fragility and their vitality.
