Transatlantic Hot Club embodies the spirit of a free-flowing and inventive swing jazz, at the crossroads of continents and traditions.
Through original compositions and unexpected arrangements of standards, the group offers an elegant journey through swing, Gypsy jazz, and Mediterranean influences, even revisiting Corsican polyphonies through a subtle and contemporary aesthetic.
Founded around the meeting of harpist Ben Creighton Griffiths and violinist Adrien Chevalier, the project has gradually established itself as a true transatlantic bridge. Their musical connection, shaped by jazz, traditional music, and improvisation, was further enriched by the arrival of Ashley John Long on double bass and Jérémy Lohier on accordion, giving rise to a quartet with a particularly rich and expressive sound palette.
Their international journey—from the Caribbean to New York, and from the United Kingdom to Corsica—reflects their commitment to building cultural bridges through music.
