The Camargue. Alexandre, Frédéric, Patrick and Claude are manadiers. They’re raising a breed of semi-feral black bulls for the Camarguaise race. They allowed me to follow them for a whole year. Immersed in their daily lives, the film goes in search of unusual moments and conversations. From one winter to the next, there’s a poetry in the closeness of their relationship with the animals and the land that I have also tried to bring out.
