Barthélémy Binia, a priest in Haute-Vienne, comes from the Republic of Congo. Open to all cultures and beliefs, Father Barthélémy’s masses have such swing to them that the “Black priest of the Limousin” has become the local do-gooders’ darling! However, between lack of money and fear of being deported like any other immigrant worker, his daily life is not always easy... Meanwhile, he is initiating a young priest newly arrived from Africa into the customs of deepest, rural France!
