Surrounded by a selection of personal objects representing his many passions, the artist reveals the different facets of his personality and looks back at the great moments of his life and career. The interview is interspersed with archive material, particularly of his idols, including Marlon Brando, Serge Gainsbourg, Claude François, Michel Polnareff and Paul McCartney. At the end of the documentary the singer performs a song composed exclusively for the occasion.
