The three musicians in this trio delight in rummaging through the most diverse musical genres in search of rarity and emotion. Their new creation is inspired by Afro-American poets such as Rita Dove and Gwendolyn Brooks, leading figures in protest poetry, an ode to all forms of freedom. The trio turns these poems into a form of electric "protest song", and creates an imaginary, dreamlike and hallucinatory folklore.
Their music flits from a potential protest song to free jazz, from a nursery rhyme to the frenzy of trance.
