Synopsis
A journey into retro-futuristic sound! BALANI SOUND SYSTEM propels the pentatonic balafon into the future. Inspired by the supercharged atmospheres of West African cabarets, their trance music transcends time and borders and sets the dance floor on fire.
The band draws its inspiration from the complex constructions of the polyrhythmic and polyphonic music of West Africa, creating a revised aesthetic that’s still faithful to the original in an atmosphere of joy and sharing!
