Joëlle Léandre, an unclassifiable and free-spirited double bass player, presents her new creation, devised as an "open" work intended for instrumentalists who are all leaders, composers and improvisers.

The piece is divided into several sequences, based on and around the note "D".

Marrying composition and improvisation, Joëlle Léandre brings together duos, trios, quartets, octets and tentets, dazzling and intense chorales, sound scintillations, murmurs and melodic and rhythmic unisons.

It is a manifesto, a work in progress, a call to live together, a vision of music that encourages everyone to be a creator and purveyor of ideas.
