No longer restricted to the confines of a few festive moments such as Carnival or Halloween, Cosplay, created in the United States, and the Steampunk movement have experienced a surge in popularity both in Japan and Europe. All year round, tens of thousands of people, from 7 to 77, are regularly bringing fictional characters to life, slipping into their costumes as if into a second skin.
