The Melia–Bibonne duo develops an experimental sonic exploration based on traditional wind instruments from southern France and the Mediterranean basin.

Their approach explores breath, timbre and texture before any structured form takes shape, in a process where the body and breathing themselves become musical material. Through the galoubet, cabrette, shawm, tout-toun, bagpipes, fifes and voice, they experiment with extended techniques, micro-intervals and improvisation.

Their artistic journey brings together folk traditions, contemporary creation and oral transmission.
