GEORGES AND THE PASSES
52' - 2014 - SAISON CINQ
Synopsis
Five years ago, Georges Pujolas opened a small chandlery shop north of the village of Cap Ferret. In this tiny marina, nestled in the dunes and adorned with pine trees, Georges only has to walk a few meters to board a boat and enter Les Passes, a narrow channel, in order to indulge in his favourite pastime: bass fishing. The area is dangerous, and its hazards must be fully understood. But who won’t take a calculated risk for something they truly love?
In Bass fishing in Les Passes of the Arcachon Basin, we discover a beautiful and very distinctive area, and learn about its geological history, the way it works, and the fantasies and fears that it has produced.
