Composed for the closing night of the festival, Aldilà à l’arcubalenu, by Bruno Coulais, pays tribute to Antone Sicurani, who died in September 2022 at the age of 39.
A musician, composer and technical director, Antone was the son of Jean Sicurani, the president of the Rencontres de Calenzana. Kind, helpful and attentive to everyone, he was passionate about culture and music. Antone Sicurani’s skill and commitment was integral to success of numerous concerts, plays and festivals.
This concert will be performed at several festivals in Corsica in 2023 and a tour is planned for 2024 on the continent.
