In France, two out of five homeless people are women. It is estimated that there are 30,000 homeless women in France, and 7,000 of them live in Paris. Many things lead these women to the street: layoff, eviction, and family breakdown, to name a few. In the street, these women have to learn to fend for themselves.
For a handful of weeks, a number of homeless women allowed a shooting team to follow them in their daily lives. We meet Barkissou, a homeless student; Nadia, who sleeps in a tent with her dogs; and Elina, who, after many hard years, has finally found a home.
