The Charity Scam That Turned into a Million-Euro Fraud Case

Jonathan Laulan was arrested on September 19 during a lottery event he was organizing in Bordeaux. He, along with his wife and two other individuals, is accused of diverting several million euros intended for charities.

He reportedly organized charitable lottery nights while allegedly pocketing part of the proceeds. Together with his wife, he is said to have enjoyed a lavish lifestyle: a house with a jacuzzi, luxury cars, and trips abroad.
