As part of the 5th Music and History Festival for intercultural dialogue, given at the Fontfroide Abbey in Narbonne on July 31, 2010, Montserrat FIGUERAS, on vocals and zither, Driss EL MALOUMI, on vocals and oud, the Capella Reial de Catalunya, and Hespèrion XXI, under the direction of Jordi SAVALL, perform works by Guillaume Dufay, Josquin des Prez and Cristobal de Morales. They are accompanied by reciters Josep PIERA, Francisco ROSAS and Daniele CARNOVICH.This recording is divided into several acts retracing the major events in the history of the Borgia dynasty.
