For more than fifteen years, Kalakan has established itself as one of the leading forces in the revival of traditional Basque music. Remaining true to an approach that is both respectful of its heritage and firmly focused on the future, the group places its age-old songs and rhythms within a contemporary, vibrant, and powerful artistic framework.

With this new project, Kalakan embarks on a fresh creative chapter, incorporating electronic textures and modern soundscapes while never losing sight of the essence of its mission: transmitting a culture and a language through breath, rhythm, and vibration.
