A portrait of the South Korean screenwriter, director and producer Lee Chang-Dong through his work, this documentary provides a thematic analysis of his films (Burning, Poetry, Secret Sunshine, Oasis...), most of which have been selected for and received awards at the Cannes Film Festival.
It is also an opportunity to take a look at contemporary South Korean society, as his films are firmly rooted in the political reality of the country.
Lee Chang-Dong's films have universal significance and make us question man’s future in today's world.
