A world-renowned drummer, celebrated as both an outstanding musician and a talented composer (collaborations with Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Dire Straits, Tears for Fears, The Christians, Robbie Robertson, Tracy Chapman, Youssou N'Dour, Pino Danielle, Simple Minds, Joe Satriani, Richard Wright, Michel Petrucciani...) Manu Katché has always stayed true to his first love: jazz.
For the past 2 years, he’s been exploring the trio format with his frequent collaborator, French bassist Jérôme Look (who can adapt to any style, including jazz, pop, rock... and who has played with Michel Legrand, Jan Garbarek and Louis Winsberg...) and the guitarist Patrick Manouguian, who plays with big jazz names such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Minino Garay and Didier Lockwood. "The Scope" is the trio’s new album.
