Classically trained, Manu Katché wanted to become a percussionist in a symphony orchestra. He turned away from classical music to go into jazz and then pop-rock. His distinctive "Katché sound", which is instantly recognisable to music lovers, makes him an unclassifiable artist. Capable of mixing all influences and adapting to all styles, he has created a genuine closeness and exchange with his audience.
