Marthe came into being in 2017, following a meeting between Florent Briqué, a well-known trumpeter in the jazz community, and the saxophonist of Greek origin Alexis Moutzouris.

Two universes that complement one another and in which pop, rock, jungle and Greek and Anatolian influences intersect. Two approaches serving a rich repertoire and a unique cultural mix. Bewitching oriental melodies, which carry us across oceans and continents on the warm breath of woodwind and brass, driven by a hypnotic and heady beat.
