Artists keeping memories alive.

Leading figures in the ninth art (graphic novels) explore memories of the Algerian war. With their brushes and pens, they (re)create moments from their family histories and summon the ghosts that haunt “their wounds” from Algeria, turning memories into art and give a different interpretation of a war whose name has long been ignored in France.
