What if the history of music were told to us as a journey?
Opéra Paradiso is more than just a concert: it is a narrative and musical epic.
Featuring a symphony orchestra (the Grenoble University Symphony Orchestra), a large choir and a narrator, this production traces the history of opera, taking us on a journey through time to discover its symbols, its genius composers, and its most fascinating secrets and anecdotes.
Guided by the storyteller’s voice, the audience travels through the ages. They discover the obsessions of the great masters, the little stories behind the great works, and the spirit of La Fabrique Opéra, a unique model that makes the great operatic repertoire accessible to everyone. Each musical piece becomes a stop along this extraordinary odyssey.
Opéra Paradiso invites opera lovers to rediscover the great classics, while offering other audiences their first encounter with this all-encompassing art form through iconic works by Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Gounod, Offenbach and others.
