Massimo has been based in the Butte aux Cailles district of Paris for over 20 years. He runs his hairdressing salon there, which has also become the HQ of his charity ‘Direct action Sererit’, which helps to send children to school in Kenya.
The salon's regular customers regularly donate clothes to Massimo for distribution to Kenyan children.
On the eve of his 50th birthday, Massimo, inspired by his uncle who has lived in Kenya for more than 50 years, decided to get involved with African children and give more meaning to his life. Juliette and Olivier, who are very touched by his project, also decide to get more involved by accompanying Massimo on his next trip.
The film follows Massimo, Juliette and Olivier on their adventure. It is a powerful and stimulating human experience, from which they emerge enriched by the relationships they have forged with the Samburu community.
