Principles of Joy is a French soul and blues band founded in Paris by Rachel Yarabou. The group has developed a distinctive sound inspired by the music of the 1960s and 1970s, blending funk, rhythm and blues, and the vibrant stage energy rooted in the African American musical tradition.
