In Soulac-sur-Mer, Gironde, the Le Signal apartment building, built in 1967, was evacuated on January 29th, 2014, as a matter of urgency, because it was in danger of tipping over into the ocean.
The story of this building is also the story of what is happening - or will happen - to more than half of the inhabitants of this planet: those who live by the sea and who are powerlessly witnessing the erosion of the coastline.
