    THE DAY DREAMS (Cie Jean-Claude Gallotta ) 80'  - 2021  - Tangaro/CLC Productions – Le Groupe Emile Dubois – TéléGrenaoble - LCN - La Chaîne Normande
    Synopsis

With this show, Jean-Claude Gallotta returns to Bethune Street in Manhattan, where, in the early 1980s, his dreams as an apprentice choreographer were reflected in the picture windows of Merce Cunningham's studio.

Composed of three twenty-minute "events" interspersed with two solos by the choreographer himself, LE JOUR SE RÊVE is a work that draws its intensity from the full experience of movement, sound and image.

Faithful to the practise of exchange favoured by Merce Cunningham, Cage and Rauschenberg, Jean-Claude Gallotta collaborated on this project with the musician and explorer of new sound spaces Rodolphe Burger, who mixes rock with philosophy and "frequents" Beckett and Johnny Cash, Büchner and Lou Reed. He also brought in Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, an artist with multiple personalities and explorer of the links between the arts, who “places the dancers in costumes and light to help them make us aware of the present moment”.
