Synopsis
Performing the Rite of Spring at the Philharmonie de Paris with no conductor, David Grimal and the 97 musicians of the Dissonances give themselves a harder challenge each year.
This work by Stravinsky, written in 1913, explores simple themes: rhythm and harmony. However, it was one of the most scandalous in the history of music, the first performance sparking demonstrations in the hall!
