Located between the Cévennes National Park and Grands Causses, the Vis is an untamed river several kilometres long that is still virtually inaccessible and uninhabited.
It holds every record in terms of clarity, the richness of its fish and fauna, and, above all, its genetics, since it is one of the last rivers to contain a population of pure Mediterranean stock.
