Once a little known sport, in the space of a few decades “Catch and Release” fishing has become a real phenomenon.

This documentary looks back from its beginnings to its present state.
The film investigates the practise by talking to a wide variety of freshwater and sea fishermen, including those for and against catch and release fishing and those in between.

The film’s scientific overtones will also give us an insight into the consequences of this type of “death-free” fishing on the aquatic environment.
