Synopsis
A dip into the grandiose and glamorous universe of 1950s America, with the musicals of Fred Astaire, Ella Fitzgerald, Basie Count, Bing Crosby and Pete Rugolo. On a stage worthy of a philharmonic hall, the incredible singer Linda Olah and the 38 musicians of the Umlaut Big Band take us back, for just one evening, to the legendary parties of the golden age of Hollywood.
Driven by the shared desire to get increasingly diverse audiences dancing, the musicians don their finest apparel and treat us to velvet strings and sallies of brass, with the boundless energy and elegance of the great celebrations. As the song says, let's face the music and dance!
