As part of the 32nd Lyon Baroque Music Festival, the Concert spirituel, under the direction of Hervé NIQUET, performs works by André Campra and Antonio Vivaldi.

Hervé Niquet decided to compare Vivaldi’s world famous work with André Campra’s fascinating Mass Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, distinguished by its supple melody, its theatricality and its contrasts, which offer the listener an extraordinary range of emotions, sounds and rhythms.
