Two cities, two neighborhoods, six artists ; « Zurich 4 – Paris 18 » is a look at two colorful and dark universes, where live together a number of cultures, languages and religions. It is the story of two old workers’ neighborhoods impacted by immigration, poverty but also by solidarity, politic and cultural engagement. : “la Goutte d'Or” in Paris and Langstrasse neighborhood in Zurich.
As part of a cultural project, artists from these two neighborhoods exchanged their life location. With them we share their daily life in these distant but so close universes. Personal and artistic points of view compose an intriguing and critical portrait of these neighborhoods in changing.
