AMAZON: Inside the Secrets of XXL Logistics 70'  - IN PRODUCTION  - PARAMONTI
    Synopsis

Hidden away in vast logistics zones rarely seen by the public, Amazon’s robotized warehouses embody a new era of work and distribution. Behind their anonymous facades, an unceasing ballet of autonomous machines, ultra-fast conveyors, and powerful algorithms orchestrates the sorting, storage, and shipping of millions of products.

This documentary takes us deep inside these modern cathedrals of consumption, where humans and machines coexist in perfectly timed precision. It explores the mesmerizing accuracy of Kiva robots, the invisible mapping that guides every package, and the processes designed to reduce every human movement to the bare minimum.

But it also gives a voice to the employees — order pickers, maintenance technicians, supervisors — all facing the relentless pace of technology and the profound transformation of their work.

Through a technical, human, and critical lens, the film questions the challenges of this logistical revolution: performance and profitability versus physical strain, technological fascination versus potential dehumanization, the promise of speed versus social and environmental concerns.

Between robotic choreography, personal testimonies, and expert analysis, this documentary opens the doors to a world that already shapes our everyday lives — often without us even realizing it.
