Who are the people who train racehorses... but without making it their job? What drives them to rise before dawn and invest their time and money in “making horses run”? “Licensed Trainers” come from all social classes: post office workers, doctors, mechanics, restaurateurs, nurses, EDF agents, teachers... they are also often farmers. Training in the morning before going on to their "real" jobs, they lead double lives that are difficult to manage, in terms of hours, family commitments and physical fatigue. What do they have in common? A passion for horses and horseracing.
